Cumming, GA - As Patriot Bank of Georgia (IO) continues to organize in Forsyth County, the Directors have selected the senior management lending team that will lead the bank’s growth. Gary S. Lochbaum has been named the Executive Vice President and Senior Lender and Christian F. Matulich will become the Senior Vice President of Residential Development and Construction and Mortgage Manager. The Bank is also pleased to announce the addition of Richard L. Erwin as the ninth member of the Board of Directors.
In keeping with Patriot Bank’s (IO) commitment to serve the financial needs of the community, Gary and Christian collectively bring over 27 years of banking experience and knowledge of the local market.
Mr. Lochbaum has over 19 years in the banking industry. Prior to his community bank experience, he served 11 years as a bank examiner with the FDIC in the Atlanta Region. Most recently, Gary was the Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer with The Citizens Bank of Forsyth County, overseeing all credit administration and underwriting of the bank’s portfolio. “Those who know Gary know his history of superior achievement and commitment to the client. We couldn’t be more excited to have him aboard,” noted John Bramblett, President and CEO of Patriot Bank of Georgia (IO). Gary will also serve on the Board of Directors for the bank.
Mr. Matulich has been in the banking industry for over eight years in both mortgage origination and residential development and construction. Christian joins us from Main Street Bank where he served as the City Executive for the Roswell and Alpharetta offices. “Christian’s tremendous experience and knowledge of the local market will be an asset to the Bank and its clients,” added Mr. Bramblett.
Mr. Erwin is the owner and President of Kitchen Designs, Inc., a cabinet distributor serving Forsyth and surrounding counties. He has been a resident of Forsyth County for over 31 years where he has served on the Advisory Board at Chestatee State Bank and participated in several real estate ventures. “With all the recent merger activity of banks in Forsyth County and surrounding areas,” said Erwin, “I’m excited to be a part of a community bank that honestly believes in personal banking and serving the financial needs of the community.”
