Patriot Bank of Georgia (In Organization) Completes Its Stock Offering

Cumming, Georgia      John D. Bramblett, President and CEO of Patriot Bank of Georgia (In Organization) (the “Bank”) announced that the initial offering of the Bank’s common stock is complete.  “We are pleased to announce that we have reached our maximum capital goal of $16 million in just over five weeks.”  “We are overwhelmed and humbled by the response from the community,” Bramblett added.  Over the next few weeks, the Bank seeks to complete the tasks of hiring the remaining staff, finalizing internal policies and procedures, working to complete the temporary office space, and putting the final touches on the plans for the permanent building.  The Bank currently plans to open in July using temporary space located in the Brookwood Market Place Center at the southeast corner of Brookwood Road and Highway 141/Peachtree Parkway.  “We will be located in Suite 270 of the Office Max Building in the Brookwood Market Place Center.”  “Construction on our permanent building, which will be located across from our temporary facility on Brookwood Road, should begin this summer,” noted Bramblett.  The Bank also contemplates opening a second location in north Forsyth in 2007. 

In addition to Bramblett, a 20 year North Fulton/Forsyth banking veteran, organizing directors for Patriot Bank of Georgia include Chairman Gene Tuggle – owner and President of Tuggle Residential, Inc.; Vice Chairman Matt Sosebee – a real estate developer and owner of Auto Craze Car Wash, Inc.; Renee Beaudin – partner with the law firm of Boling, Rice LLC; Dr. J. Clay Copher – partner with Chattahoochee Surgical Group and Chief of Surgery at Northside Hospital – Forsyth; Richard Erwin – owner and President of Kitchen Designs, Inc.; Dr. Mike McLaughlin – owner and President of Animal Medical Center of Cumming; Gordon Telford, Jr. – real estate investor and consultant to First Citizens Bank; and Gary S.
